We are enjoying PREP. The ease of use is night and day compared to our previous solution, where we faced many problems, especially with scanned documents containing complex tables. However, PREP is user-friendly and intuitive. The training videos are available anytime, and if we still need assistance, we use the helpdesk.

It has been a truly positive experience working with the Continual Engine team and their Invicta tool. I can certainly attest to the efficiency, consistency, and excellent quality of the alternative text that has been developed thus far for about 30 titles across our Math, Computer Science and Engineering discipline lists. We, at the Office of Disability Resources at UMW have been excited to start using PREP as our main PDF remediation tool. We have been using it for a few months and have been able to make our PDF workflow more manageable. PREP has saved us both time and money by allowing us to edit the PDF in an easy and robust way. I would say it cuts down our PDF remediation process in half due to simplistic features all in the platform. It has also saved us money because we have not had to the need to send complicated PDFs out to other vendors. We really enjoy the collaboration feature that allows us to assign parts to different users. We also love the ability to be able to edit the output to screen reader users since this is the issue we had struggled with in the past. PREP has done a great job at incorporating the initial tools to be able to automate part of the process. This has helped cut down time immensely and be able to meet the needs of our students quickly.

As an accessibility manager for a large publishing company, I work with many vendors who offer accessibility services. However, finding vendors with the ability to write quality alternative text and the capability to scale up with large projects has always been a struggle.
